Shares lessons-learned and developments on design, licensing, production and operations
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NuScale Power, LLC, announced today that several senior managers provided a series of presentations during the recent American Nuclear Society Utility Working Conference August 11-14 in Hollywood, Florida. These presentations focused on NuScale approaches to a variety of technical topics in an effort to share lessons-learned and unique technical developments associated with the design, licensing, production and operation of the NuScale Power Module.
Ross Snuggerud, Operations Engineer, presented NuScale’s approach to the development of the future nuclear workforce as well as a session on Next Generation control rooms.
Ed Wallace, Vice president of Regulatory Affairs, presented NuScale’s approach to the development of a design-specific review standard in preparation for the submittal of a design certification application and construction/operating license application.
Scott Bailey, Vice President of Supply Chain, chaired a session on equipment innovations and NuScale’s approach to early supplier involvement including presentations from Curtiss-Wright Vice President Steve Pauly and Rock Creek Technologies President Gregg Clarkson.
